Think The Blair Witch Project crossed with The Exorcist; a casual, almost laughable opening half had myself and a friend in stitches and then moments later shitting ourselves.
Certainly not the cheap horror/supernatural hit I had been expecting, lots of clever referencing to more sinister flicks such as "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" playing on the latent fear we all harbor of young, innocent females from the bible belt.
All that aside, an impressive 3rd production from German Director Daniel Stamm (who previously directed "A Necessary Evil" and "Off Hollywood & Vine".)
